Surrogate Criteria

A woman who is considering becoming a surrogate mother has usually had successful and uncomplicated pregnancies of her own, has compassion and empathy for the intended parents' situation, she feels strongly about helping them experience the joy of having a family of their own. Her intentions are genuine and not monetarily motivated.

Must reside in California
Good physical health
Between the ages of 21-38
Non-smoking/non-drug using
Must have had at least one child and a good pregnancy history
No criminal records
Healthy weight range (BMI must not exceed 30)
Financially stable (documentable source of income)
Emotionally secure
Good support system
Must have reliable transportation (auto with valid driver's license, insurance, and registration)
